why do we go online?

do we have a purpose when we go online?
is it just because there's nothing better to do
or is it a habit already
even when i'm not home i leave my computer on...
or maybe u go online for someone
to wait for them to appear online?
i dunno.
u go online for someone, ur someone go online for some other person and who knows who that person is waiting for

oh man... i'm thinking too much again.
